SNEAKERS

When taking off your shoes, please use a shoehorn and not the other shoe as there’s a risk that the backside’s seams will become loose. Shoehorn also protects the back of the shoes.

Prevent dirt by using an impregnation spray. This creates a cover over the shoes, which makes them easier to keep clean. Clean by using special products such as an abrasive block, suede brush or special cleaning products. Impregnate afterwards with spray, let dry and brush. Repeat for the best result. Do not use impregnation spray on the rubber sole.

HEEL-TIP

To make the heel last as long as possible on your new shoes, it is important to change the heel tip before it is torn down. This is easily fixed at the shoemaker.

SUEDE

Prevent dirt by using an impregnation spray. This creates a cover over the shoes that makes them easier to keep clean. Clean by using special products such as an abrasive block, suede brush or special cleaning products. Impregnate afterwards with spray, let dry and brush. Repeat for the best result.

LEATHER

Impregnate the shoes before use. For cleaning, use a shoe brush. Use leather-cleaning products for tough stains. Polish afterwards by using a shoe cream in the correct tone. This betters the colour and makes the leather shiny. Spray gives extra protection against wet. Do not use impregnation spray on painted leather.

TEXTILE

Brush and use cleaning shampoo for textile when needed. Do not use the washing machine. To protect the shoes, spray a thin layer of textile impregnation spray on them and let dry. Repeat for best result.

SATIN TEXTILE

Gently dust-off dirt by using a dry clean towel. If the stains don’t come off, please go to your dry cleaner for advice.

PLASTIC

Damp a clean towel with water and soap and clean the shoes continually on both the outside and the inside. Just be careful not to use too much water as it can break down the glue’s bond in the insock, therefore try keeping the water away from the lining and insock and only on the plastic.
